Crowns for Christians
Revelations 4:10-11 – “10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
There are 5 crowns mentioned in the Word of God.
These crowns are available for Christians to obtain.
These crowns must be won, not a gift as Salvation is.
The Incorruptible Crown – I Corinthians 9:25
To obtain this crown you must be faithful in labors and with your whole heart.
The Crown of Rejoicing – I Thessalonians 2:19-20
This is the soul-winner’s crown.
The Crown of Righteousness- II Timothy 3:7-8
For those who walk with the Lord and who find the prospect of His coming glorious.- I John 3:2-3
The Crown of Life – James 1:12
For those who patiently suffer and endure hardships and temptations for Christ’s sake.—Even unto death.
The Crown of Glory – I Peter 5:4
For those who faithfully give out the Word of God
Many speak of it as the Pastor’s Crown.
