Jesus is Coming Soon

1 Thessalonians 4:13

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

We've heard this all of our lives, and we've gotten used to it, and in reality, we don't believe that he could come back today. There is nothing that has to happen. Everything is going right on schedule according to the plan of God. The Bible has told us of the conditions that the world would be when the Lord Jesus returns. The Bible gives us information about how evil the world will be. It will be like the days of Noah when every thought was evil continually. This reminds me of the days in which we presently live. Like the days of Lot, we're so confused that we don't know who to marry. With the information we have about the returning of our Lord, we should be excited to know that, even today, our Lord could return. It should sadden us at the same time, knowing what awaits our loved ones that will be left behind. Praise the Lord Jesus for the promise that Jesus is soon to return.
