Some Gave All
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
As some choose to look at today as a “long weekend” I hope we truly to take a moment to remember all that have went before us and paid the ultimate sacrifice. We often remember all those that have fought and given their lives for the freedoms we enjoy everyday. However, let us not forget those also that made a stand and paid for it with their lives. Those that sacrificed that allow us to now have the entire Word of God. Those that died to give us the religious liberty we have today. There are so many that faced things we can’t even imagine just so that we can have the ability to worship God now!Hopefully as you take time today to remember those who’ve given their lives for their country, also take time to remember those that laid down their lives for Christ’s sake, and be thankful for the blessings we enjoy because of their sacrifice!
