May 4 Devotion: Tomorrow

Tomorrow

Exodus 8:10

And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

There has been a lot said about tomorrow. We say, don't do today what we can put off until tomorrow, or tomorrow is the day that never comes. Because of pride, Pharaoh was willing to put up with the frogs until tomorrow. Just imagine everywhere you turn is frogs. We, like Pharaoh, have things in our lives that plague us and keep us from getting closer to the Lord. Pharaoh could have had the frogs removed immediately because Moses asked him, and he replied, “Tomorrow.” We, like Pharaoh, have things in our lives, and we've gotten used to them. We're like the old gospel song that said we’re getting used to the dark. How much worse does it have to get before we realize that we're hopeless without God? The Bible says it's the little foxes that spoil the vine. We need to draw closer to the Lord Jesus.

May God bless you,

Bro. Ron Little
