How Fast Are You Running
1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Ever stop to think about those that run in a marathon? Only one person wins, yet everyone else will still put their body through the grueling race that a marathon is. They will put forth their best effort, even if just for the sense of accomplishment that they finished.
What about our walk with Christ? Do we continually put forth our best effort, even in difficult times? What about when we are doing all we can, and maybe not seeing the fruit that WE expect?
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
It’s easy to look at the world around us and wonder if we are making a difference. Satan will play tricks on your mind and convince you that any efforts made us are a lost cause. However, The Bible tells us something different.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
It’s important that we keep running as fast and as hard as we can. Now is not the time to “hit the wall” and give up. There is still much to do and little time left to get it done in. Go out today, put your best foot forward, and keep your eye on the prize!
God bless you today!
