Nov 2 Devotion: God’s Ability

Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing shall be impossible“.

Definition Ability-Having the power to do or accomplish, able, capable, qualified.

     In Matthew 19:26, the scripture says that with men some things are impossible, but with God all things are possible. Man is so limited in what he can do or accomplish, but I am glad I serve a God that nothing is impossible for Him to do or accomplish. Notice today some things about God’s ability.

God’s Ability

1. To do more than we ask – Eph. 3:20, Example-I Kings 3:5-14

2. To make grace abound – II Cor. 9:8 – Example- II Cor. 9:1-10

3. To save – Hebrews 7:25 – Example- I Tim. 1:12-16

4. To help the tempted – I Cor. 10:13, Heb. 2:18, – Example- Heb. 4:14-16

5. To guard – II Timothy 1:12 – Example- II Timothy 4:16-18

6. To subject – Philippians 3:21 – Example- Ephesians 1:19-22

7. To fulfill promises- Romans 4:21, II Peter 3:9, Hebrews 10:23 – Example – Romans 4:16-22
