Kindness Don’t Hurt

1 Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

With each passing day I am more amazed by the people that live in this world. The cruelty and hatefulness that people have one to another. We’ve reached a point where we think if we don’t agree then we can’t be friends with someone. You will have differences with even your best of friends! You see fake people who will say one thing to your face and then something completely different behind your back. Then you have people that look out for themselves only and will step on anyone in their way, regardless of what it does to those they step on. All of this just wears on people! People have become cold and unfriendly, all because of how they’ve been treated.

What if we as Christians just tried to show a little kindness to those we come in contact with. We can think people don’t deserve it, or we should treat them the way they treat us. However, aren’t we thankful The Lord isn’t like that with us? Imagine if He treated us the way we treat Him at times. It doesn’t hurt to be kind, and who knows how it could change that persons day, or even yours. You have no idea what friends you could make if you are willing to just be kind to someone.

So as you go through each day make it a point to show kindness to those around you! It won’t hurt and it just might even brighten your day and your outlook on your week!
