What are you doing?
Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
We just came out of a weekend that seen our President do a lot of tweeting about the sports world. So many athletes are doing things by way of protest to our flag. While I do not agree with their stance they have the freedom to voice their opinions. Our Pastor has even said the same freedoms we enjoy to be able to worship are the same freedoms they have to take a knee during anthem or whatever. I do believe these athletes are out of touch with reality and wonder what are they doing to improve the country. It also got me to asking myself: What am I doing? We are quick to say what can we really do as one person, and I can’t really make a difference. We easily come up with excuses. Regardless of age, health, wealth, or anything else we can pray!! Our country and its leaders, now more than ever, need the prayers of Christians who can get hold of God. It’s going to take God to turn things around in our country and our lives, so let us spend extra time in prayer this week to pray for the leaders of our country as well as leaders of the true churches across this land!!
