Is There Not A Cause?
1 Samuel 17:29
And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
I’d imagine we are all familiar with this verse. David has been sent to his brothers by Jesse. Upon arriving, David finds Israel sore afraid of the giant Goliath that the Philistines had sent before them. David then uttered those words: "Is there not a cause?"
You think about revival that starts next week. Do you want to see true revival or just a meeting? Our country hasn’t seen true revival in over 100 years. Could this meeting be the one that sparks true revival in our church and spreads across our community and country? We all know lost people. We all know prodigals that need to come home. It might take true revival breaking out for them to open their eyes to their situations and get born again or get back to where they need to be in their relationship with Christ. The Lord has not yet called His church out of here, so He still desires to save people! He still desires to see those prodigals come home.
I think we believe God wants to send revival. Some believe He can, but do we believe He will? There is such a need for revival in our land!!
Do we have a desire to see God send true revival?
As we’ve prepared our hearts and minds for revival, I’d like to ask you that question: Is there not a cause?
God bless,
Bro. Josh Richardson
