He makes all the difference!!
Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
We will often equate these verses in sharing the Gospel with someone, and trying to get them to see their need for salvation. There is nothing wrong with that, but have you looked at these verses lately and just refresh your memory in what they mean for you if you are saved? In all our futile attempts to do right, feeble efforts at righteousness we continually fall short! Praise God though that He closes that gap that we fall short in! Not only closes that gap, but justifies us! If you are saved, when God looks at you He don’t see your sin. It has been forgiven and forgotten! Jesus Christ gave us that victory.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
We then should live in victory! The world is going to do all it can to defeat us. It will put things in our lives that we may have no idea how we will get past it. God knows how! No matter how hard the devil may try to get you down just let him know that he’s already been defeated and that you have victory over him no matter what he throws your way.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You may have had a tough day, week, month or even year. Regardless, that don’t change the fact that you still have victory thru Christ! I just ask today that you keep that victory in mind when it comes to whatever you may be facing!
