Feeling of separation Romans 8:35-39 [35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ever wonder where God is in your life? This wonderful passage let’s us know He is always there. Gods people have always gone thru many things: Illness, persecution, imprisonment, possibly even death. Nothing we face in our lives is new nor is it something that others haven’t also faced.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Why then do we wonder where God is when we are facing something? It’s nothing more than a “feeling” we have. The Bible tells us NOTHING can keep us from His love, so if we feel like He isn’t there then that’s on us. Too many times we have something that comes up in our life and we will give place to the devil and allow him to put thoughts in our head:
Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.
The devil will tell you God don’t love you; Why He blessing so and so and you’re going thru this? We will allow the devil to convince us that God isn’t there, but it’s just not true!! He tells us that nothing can separate us from His love. Maybe today you are wondering where God is, you may be facing something that you just don’t understand. Friend, He is right there! Just call on Him and He will give you peace in whatever it is you are facing. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Hopefully if you are looking for God you will realize He is right there as always.
May God bless you today!! Bro. Josh Richardson
